  ... read more Sean was very responsive to my messages when inquiring about my beautiful new 2013 WRX. I was coming to Norwalk from Kansas City so I had a lot of questions to answer before I wanted to commit to making the 3-hour trip. Once I was fairly certain this was the car for me, I made the drive. Sean was very hands-off when I arrived and allowed me to look over the car alone without suffocating me with the typical over pressured sales pitch. He knew that I was familiar with these cars and that I didn't need his input to weigh in on my decision. He was honest and helpful with the questions I did have on site, and was fair in his negotiation strategy when I was ready to talk numbers. Overall my experience at Performance Auto was very pleasant, not to mention that I am ecstatic with my purchase. I will not hesitate to recommend PA in the future and will definitely be checking out their inventory when it comes time for me to upgrade again. Thanks Sean!

  ... read more Purchased a 2005 Honda CRV from Performance Auto back in August 2018. Great price, they fixed a seat belt that wasn't retracting well after I looked at the vehicle and pointed it out. After the owning the vehicle for about two weeks, I noticed an intermittent issue where the transmission wouldn't shift appropriately when the engine was cold. Talked to Sean about it, he had me come in and noticed the issue was well. First we tried a transmission fluid change which ended up not working so Sean replaced the transmission FREE OF CHARGE. In addition, while replacing the tranny he also replaced the front brake rotors for free. While it sucked that the transmission had to be replaced, Performance Auto took care of me throughout the whole process. It was an intermittent issue and I didn't know it was a problem until after driving it a couple hundred miles, so I didn't expect them to know about the issue either. Regardless, Performance Auto had my back throughout this entire process. They could have easily left me hanging, but instead they did some serious work on the car to get it running well. So well in fact, that after the tranny was replaced I drove the car from Des Moines Iowa to Austin Texas and back without any issues. I have put around 12K miles on the vehicle in 7 months and have had zero issues, just tire rotations and oil changes. Summary: Great used automobile dealer that will have your back.

  ... read more We were recently in the market for an inexpensive, reliable car. When we came out to Performance auto, we were surprised to find a nice selection of options that fit the bill. In each case, the car had been gone through by their staff and had all the major maintenance items addressed. We ended up having an alternator go out just weeks after purchase (not uncommon for a car this age/mileage). True to their word, the staff had the vehicle towed back to them and took care of the problem for us and even addressed another minor item we were not aware of. We had a great experience with Performance Auto, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again or recommend them to others!

  ... read more I would not recommend buying a car from here. Suppose to be a "performance" car dealership but can't tell when a car isn't reaching full boost. Then once you get the car home and see some of the problems that it has they don't offer to fix it for free like they should. Very shady business.
